Hostess Monday Digital Delight
Hello everyone! This is my 1st time doing Hostess Mondays... totally anxious here lol
Ever since Wendy mentioned that it was my turn to host I've been wondering what in the world I could share with you ;o) I'm really really awful at doing a tutorial!!! Actually this is my 1st ever!!! So please be gentle with me.
I've been having fun doing some other items than cards recently. So I figured I could share with you a little tutorial doing a corner bookmark. I intend on putting those in the Christmas stockings of my kids.
Here's the 1st picture of the dimensions that I have used. Basically you do 3 squares of 2 1/2 inches each. You also do a diagonal line through 2 of them and you will be cutting out those corners.
You can see here what I have cut out of the image
I used that cut-out to trace the cardstock in color. Then I folded the corners.
And here's the image called Penguin topper that you can find in the following bundles.
I printed him twice and colored him twice to be able to fussy cut and decoupage him. He was colored with my copics.
Here's the finish view of the little bookmark with some DP, I used scraps from my stash.
And here's the side-view so you see how it is popped up.
Hope you have liked my little creation!!! Have a fabulous Monday!
I'm entering this little creation in the following challenges:
- Eclectic ellapu - Anything but a card
- Hobby cutz challenges - Winter wonderland
That's the 1st post of the day... I have 2 more coming so hope you will be back for them.
