Thank you teacher

Today I needed to prepare a thank you card for one of my boys' teacher.  She will be leaving on maternity leave at the end of the week.  
To make this card I used my CM oval and the tearing tool.  I also used a page from a book that I distressed with Vintage photo ranger distress inks.  My stamp was Cool Edwin from Magnolia and I colored him with my copics.  I really {heart} that stamp to make my thank you cards for the boys because I just think it really looks like them.

DDC#47 - Winter blues

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful!
