Hello folks I'm here again this time to share with you a card I made a few weeks ago and didn't have time to blog.  My SIL wanted a card for her cousin who is going to be spreading the ashes of his spouse (who died this year from cancer) in December.  She can't be there with him so she really wanted to send him a special card.  So it needed to be a simple yet elegant card and masculine.  She also mentioned that since it was in December it should be cool colors. Ok so I finally got home in time for supper tonight with my family!!!  wooohooo after getting home every night at around 7pm or 8pm...  Soooooo looking forward to the weekend... Anyway I figured I deserved some crafting time!!!  So after seeing  Meljens designs dt  challenge about giving thanks, I wanted to play along!!! I sooooo want to get one of those 2 special GDT spots... but after seeing last weeks contestant for it... I seriously doubt I have a chance.  But if you don't try you have no chance right?!?  So I'm playing again this week to tell them how much I WANT IN!!!!!!!!!!!! So I used the soooo cute  Ornament mouse  for this creation.  Right now there's a great sale and the digis are 50% off... let's just say that I took this opportunity to shop a bit... shhhh don't tell my hubby! Hello everyone!  This is the time for a new challenge over at  Ike's world challenge .  And this time I'm on this blog because I'm doing a nice little Christmas card ;o)  So it can be shown on this side of my world. The challenge that we have for you this time is winter is here.... yup... it's here all right... it was -10degrees celcius yesterday!!!  What a way to wake up on a Monday morning... so anyway I digress lol For this card I used the great image Rockies from the set Canada Bundle .  I was soooo excited when Ike did this bundle so I'm super happy to be using this image.

It's Monday again... and that means it's time for a new challenge over at  Melonheadz .  This time our challenge for you is Fall colors!  That's pretty cool for any Thanksgiving creations that you are still doing or other thank you cards! Here's my little card using the great  Happy Fall bundle .  Such a great fall filled digi set!!!

You know that I'm a total addict of Progressive challenges or freebie challenges... well I found one on FB here .  It's the dragon's lair digi group!!!  And this month the challenge is to use the super cute Lucy lion.  I decided to use her on a tag.  And I needed to post her soon... the challenge ends this week! I made this tag by soaking a bunch of tags in tea ;o) I've been meaning to try that out for awhile and this was the perfect time to do so. The sentiment is from  Create with TLC I used some ribbon from the dollar store.  I added some buttons also from the dollar store.  The sentiment and card stock were cut using my scallop and large circle from Spellbinder.  The papers are from my scrap pile.  Just love when I can use some!!! Hello folks!!!  I had promised to share with you the card that I made for my niece using the great digi from Nicecrane design  and well life was crazy... but I'm here tonight to share it with you! So I used an image from this fabulous set that you can find here . So this is for Stella!  I made the sentiment myself with the indications from my SIL.  I just love this image because it really looks like the twins (except that they are both blond... one boy and one girl)

Hello everyone!  How's your weekend going?  I'm really happy that we are only Sunday... the weekends go by way too fast... and it's such a busy time right now... the very good news is that most of my Christmas shopping is done!!!  Wooohooo ;o)  Still have a little bit but most of it is taken care off and wrapped already!!! Anyway I'm here to share with you my creation for  Scribbles and scrap challenge .  It's always anything goes and I'm so amazed with all the great creations out there!!!  Did you know that if you enter with a Scribble and Scrap image and you win your prize will be bigger?!?  The prices of the digis are really reasonable... so you should check it out! For my card today I used a masculine image called  Vintage Steampunk Car .  I need some B-day cards for some men in my life... and I thought this was a great opportunity to make one!

Ok last post for the night... well actually it's morning right... and in that case there's another one coming lol Anyway... I had the great freebie from  Just some lines blog  all printed out and just waiting to be used!  So that's what I did today!  Their challenge right now is 3 or more different embellishments.  I used the 3! The little freebie is called Little girl with Big hat and I thought it was a great image to make a little b-day card.  I'm needing some right now to great a box to send to my Grandma for Christmas.  There's not much that I can give her and that she would need since she's 95... but she's always needing cards so that's a good gift.

OHHHHH MYYYYY... there's an opportunity to be a guest designer over at Meljen's Design  and I soooo love their image.  I play as often as I can... and I was waiting anxiously for an opportunity to apply as a DT... that never happened :(  So couldn't take the chance to miss this... Now the bad part is that they will only take 2 people... and of course there are so many talented folks out there that I'm really not thinking that I will get in...   But I still have to try my luck right?!?! So I'm playing this time with the very cute Buddy the fox - Snowbuddy knows .  I just think he's adorable and right now he's 50% off... so only 1.5$... can I tell you that I will be going for a shopping spree?!?

Hello!!!  Hope your Saturday was a great one!!!  I didn't get as much accomplished as I would have liked... My hubby is gone as you know with my youngest... and so I had to help with the homework of the other 3 that are in high school... review their papers etc.... And of course play a bit of taxi.  So I crafted a bit but not much. I'm here to share with you a creation that I made last weekend and didn't have time to blog and since the challenge is closing soon I better get moving before Corinne stops me from playing in the next one!!! Hello!  I'm back!  I posted my winner and now figured I should post some cards that I had done earlier this week.  It's been such a crazy week... 2 nights of parents teacher conference.  My hubby and I were sooo tired that we actually slept past our wake up time this morning by 55 minutes!!!!  Let's just say that I had 20 minutes over all to prepare myself and get out of the house with my youngest... so no time for breakfast.  And then it was rushing back to get my oldest whose graduation pictures was today when they have no school... so no means to get there except for mom to drive him... so ate fast at my desk and rushed back home... I'm exhausted lol and looking forward to a quiet weekend.  My hubby is going with William my youngest to help out my dad for the weekend... so it will be me with my 3 oldest.  And beside playing taxi I have every intention of just chilling. Hello everyone!  Today I have a special post for you.  It's my DT post for  Delicious Doodles  and this time I did a little special!  I have a post here of one side of my project and the other side can be found on my other blog here . So our challenge this time for you is NO DP!!!  yes I know that can be hard!!! I for one have a really difficult time to create without DP... So I had to create something different this time. For those that follow my blog especially my WOYWW posts, you will remember that my dad had cut some little ATCs out of wood block so that I could make some fat ones!  And this is what I'm doing for this special project. I'm using on this blog the  Zodiac-sagittarius . For this fat ATC I painted the wood black in a few coats and then I put some crackle glaze on top!  The flowers that I have added are from Prima.  I put some Heidi Swapp tinsel spray on the sentiment. I made again a little pillow box.  I think these will be perfect for the gift cards that I need to give this Christmas!  And it will make it more personal. I made it using my Cameo.  Totally looooove using it to make some 3d objects.  Takes all the measurements out of the equation!  So much easier...   I added some buttons purchased at the dollar store.  The sentiment is from the fabulous  Create with TLC .  I used some leftover papers again!!! Hello everyone! Hope you had a fabulous day!  Mine was spend for a big chunk of it in a meeting downtown... I really really hate the traffic lol  And right now there's a lot of road repairs still going on before winter is officially here... it's just a big mess... Anyway enough about that... I'm here to share with you a little card that I made to play over at Sami's stamp challenge .  There's a wonderful little freebie that you can get for a limited time and I really wanted to play with him.  So here's my take for the latest challenge which is CAS. I used another little card base from a purchased kit on special.  I'm covering the base so in the end it really doesn't look the same anymore... I'm hoping to make a few of these and give them as a little bundle as a gift.  I really like the size I think it's just perfect for a little thank you note and cost much less in postage lol

Hello!  Told you that I would be back lol.  Actually I'm back on the net while I'm probably driving back home... yup it takes me a whole lot longer now to get back home after work... I'm now 30 minutes further so it takes me about 1h to get to work and 1h back...an extra 1h per day... so 5h more per week!  Can you tell I'm not super pleased?... oh... yeah... right... it's supposed to be about  Path of positivity Challenge  and thankfulness... oooops... sorry about that ragging! Ok so I'm thankfull that I actually work... and that all of us are all healthy and that all that I have to complain about is my lack of time and the extra traffic that I get to be in.  That's pretty awesome that this is my biggest issue!  There are so many that have so much more trouble health wise or financial wise!  So yes I'm very grateful for all that my family as been blessed with.  We work hard but we also get to enjoy it. Anyway I'm here to share with you the new challenge over at  Eureka Stamps .  It's time for Thanksgiving!   Perfect for all the people in the states sharing Thanksgiving this upcoming week! So for my card I played with the great digi called Digi 34701 Fall set 4.  Yup there's actually 4 fabulous digi and I'm using one of them. I decided to make a little thank you card since to us Thanksgiving is over since the middle of October!

Hello!  Hope you had a great Sunday!  Mine was fun up to lunch time... we had brunch with my stepmom and dad for her b-day and that was great but then the rest of the afternoon was so so.  There are days like this... Any way I'm here to share with you the 2nd Christmas ball that I made with the great set  Peter Rabbit Christmas ball from Vol. 2 .  I shared the other one here . There's still a great sale going on over at  Nicecrane Designs  on all the Christmas balls!!!  So you really need to get over there and take advantage of this. This is the sheet inspiration that previews this set Here's my version!  I'm really happy with this one as well and I know that it will make a great embellishment to one of my gift bags this Christmas.  I added a little ribbon purchased at Michaels. Yup that's the title... and that's the name of the great digi that I used!!!!  I haven't been playing in the challenges of Dilly Beans  and I really missed it!!!  So when I saw that the challenge this time around was Anything but a card I thought this was the perfect time to make a little ATC especially since the challenge over  Wicked Wednesday atc  is anything goes!!! I really really love making ATCs they are a great way to use up your scraps and I just find that the size in itself gives me a challenge since it's so small... so finding the proper elements to put on there is not easy lol I had purchased a bunch of digis from Dilly Beans and I haven't used all of them so this was a great opportunity to play with one that I would have more trouble to put on an actual card... Hello everyone!  This is my last post... yes busy busy morning lol.  So this post is the post for the newest challenge over at  Scribbles designs challenge .  And for this challenge we want to see remembrance cards done with some fancy folds!
