Up up and away
Hello! I'm here this morning to share with you the 1st page that I made for my new journal. As those who follow me know, I joined a FB group Journal 52 that gives inspiration and you can see it as well on the blog Journal 52. I'm hoping that with this group I'll get to be inspired to make the 52 pages for my journal. I had never really truly art journalled... so please be kind!!!
When I saw this prompt this week I 1st thought about doing a Steampunk page!!! With some hot air balloons... but then I realized that I didn't have a stamp with that :( So that removed this option... Then I came across a digi from Nicecrane Designs it's part of the set fascinating babies that you can find here.
So I started up with some watercolor paper that I sprayed with my Heidi Swapp - Tinsel and gold, my Tattered Angels - Copper, coffee shop and finally my Apple sprays. When it was dry I stamped with my Stamping up ink close to cocoa and Really rust the great feathers from Visible image!

It was the perfect starting point!!! Then I saw that at Visible image their challenge this month is Anything goes. I had a great set of stamp that was just PERFECT for this page!!! And of course it also helps one of my new year resolution which is to use my stamps more often!!! I'm hoping that through this journalling I will get to do that.
So here's my page and remember please be kind!!!
(please read more to see the rest of the post!!)
Here's a closer look at those feathers. They are part of the Free your imagination set.
