Little oriental card - Sympathy

Hello everyone!  Not a too good day... went to work 1/2 day and then went home with the intention of logging back on... but then by the time I got home I wasn't feeling so well... and well the temperature was back :( So I decided to take a short nap and work afterwards to realize that it was 5pm...and I had slept the entire afternoon!!!!

Guess I'll try to make it up tomorrow!!!  I'm here to share with you a fast little card that had to be made last weekend as a colleague of mine lost his FIL :(  And I didn't have any French Sympathy cards already made.  So I decided to make one with an Asian flair to be able to enter it in the Mark's Finest paper oriental sketch challenge.  I've been trying to win their fab set all month lol :)
The paper is from Serenity Collection by Bobunny.  I used my large and small as well as my deckled rectangles from Spellbinder.  I added a little flower from BBP.

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful! WOW I'm speechless (well almost) lol!  Can't believe I have reached 300 followers.  I seem to be thanking you all the time but I think you really deserve HUGE thank you!!!!
