Beatrix with bear
I'm back :) And this time I'm here to share a little card that I made especially for my little niece that will be turning 2 this spring! Last year for the twins b-day I used some great images that I had gotten from Mo's Digital. And I thought I should do the same again! To me those digis are very special!!! They are so real life!!! And the perfect little kid images! That's why I guess that even if I purchased these last year... I still had not colored them... hanging my head in shame... but they are especially special for my niece and nephew...
So this year I'm using for the little Stella the great Beatrix with bear image! I have another image all lined up for little Sidney lol but that will have to wait for a later date... I haven't made that one yet!! Need the inspiration and that was here this time with the great challenge over at Mo's digital challenge. The challenge was "something new". Well I happen to have some new freebies from the awesome Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine! I had some paper and some chipboard embellishments one that was just perfect for this! I totally adore English magazine!!! I'm so jealous that they get them so cheap over there... costs me an arm and a leg here.. but with the freebies and the inspiration it's worth it.
So back to my little card:
So the paper as mentioned and the chipboard are the freebies from the magazine. I used my large and small squares from Spellbinder. I added some bling from my stash. I also cut a banner with my la la land die - I adooooore that die! But I don't do banners often... don't know why...
Here's a closer look at the great digi. I soooo love that sweet little girl. Don't you just want to pinch her little cheeks?!? My grandma used to do that to me... I really really hated it... but I have to stop myself from doing it now lol
