A little candle
Hello everyone! How was your day so far? In my case it was a PJ day!!! That was really needed after the last 2 days lol and to top it off... I'm starting to have a soar throat... hope it goes away really quickly.
Anyway enough about that stuff, this PJ day gave me the chance to play. And one of the things that I wanted was to get going for the new progressive challenge over at Digistamps4joy-sa. They have a new Christmas progressive challenge and this is just what is needed to make sure that we get Christmas cards done in time for next Christmas. Yup I know... it just passed. But before you know it, it will be back lol And in order to play you ask for this image and if you create with it you will get the next month's free! Pretty good deal right?!?
So I asked for it yesterday and now I'm sharing it. I also really really wanted to play at Scrapbook blessings and I'm cutting it really really close. They have an anything goes using one of their past technique. So I'm using the tags one.
Here's my card:
I kept this really really CAS because I used a sketch and that's what it was. I got to use my washi tapes. I used my large and small circles from Spellbinder. The tag was made with my Magnolia Doohickey. I added some MME twine from All that is bright. I also used my nesting frame from Quickutz to cut the sentiment. Oh and I added a bit of bling as well from my stash. I faux stitched around the edges.
Here's a closer look at the great digi colored with my copics. I used some stickles for the flame! The great sentiment is from Create with TLC.
I followed this awesome sketch:
I'm entering in the following challenges:

What a beautiful card Vicky! With all the work that went into this card, yes it may 'look' CAS, but it certainly is not! Love that tag too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing with us at the DS4J monthly Christmas challenge - I can see your Christmas cards are already well on their way.
