Forever Friend

How is everyone?!?  Today I felt more like myself for the very 1st time in a long long time :)  The doctor increased my medication yesterday and I slept like a baby!  No nightmares WOOHOOO!

I also got 2 more fabulous cards from blogging friends.  Getting that happy mail does bring a smile to someone's face!

And well I also want to brighten up someone's day.  So I made a little friendship card super easy using the precolored great image from Deedees digis.  Love that the set comes with precolored because it allowed me to craft and not be all tired afterwards :) It was a freebie for participating in last month's progressive challenge so just had to participate again right?!?

Here's my card

The paper that I used is from DCWV - Animal prints.  I distressed all the edges with my Tim Holtz distresser.  I did some stitching all around with my sewing machine.  The bling is from Forever in time.  The image was cut using my Nesting frame 1 from Quickutz.

Here's a closer look at the great precolored digi and the fab sentiment.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

  1. Deedees digis - Progressive challenge
  2. Crafty sentiments - Bling it on
  3. Loves rubberstamps challenges - Let it sparkle
That's it for me for today!  Hope that this new medication will keep on working and that I'll be back on my feet soon!!!!  Big hello to my latest followers!  So awesome to see some new faces.

Hugs

  1. Vicky, your card is adorable. Love that bling. Where did you get that card holder????? Love it if you could email me that info it would be great. Glad to hear that you are on the right medication...told you, just need a little extra serotonin and life is better:) As a nurse, when I have done admissions or intakes it is amazing to me how many people are actually on/take anti-depressants. Some people take them for depression, while some take them to enhance their pain medication for those who have chronic pain, some woman take them for hot flashes so you may find that it may help other ailments for you too. The most important thing is that you are getting help for a easily treated problem, really it is no different than high blood pressure or any other medical treatment that you just need to treat with a simple pill and get proper sleep.
