After the previous card, I decided to make another easel card.  Told you yesterday how I got addicted to them lol. To make this card I used Bobunny paper from Alora collection.  I also used some tiles that I had purchased at the dollar store and never knew what to do with it... I have stuff like that which was purchased because I just love the look of it and figure that I will eventually be able to craft with it.  So glad when there is something that comes up that allows me to use it.   I used my CM scallop border punch.  I used a bugaboo digi image called coffee and then paired it up with a sentiment from Stampers Anonymous that I thought was just perfect.  You know sometimes when you are just not having such a good day?!?  Well this is the perfect card for it. I colored her with my copics and added some little pearls for her earings.  I also added glaze on her glasses (but they were dry when I put in the plastic wrapper lol)  Here's  a closer look at the sentiment: A

For my Digi Darla hop post please go  here. So I have good news!!!!  I was able to get exempt from the jury duty!  Thank god because there are 2 coming up... and from what the judge mentioned they will last around 1 to 1 1/2 years!  That's 5 days a week...for a year 1/2.  Plus obviously at the end it will take the jury some time to review the evidence.  That would not have been good... So I used the fact that I have 4 kids!  The judge exempted me.  For once having those kids paid up lol.  Seriously it would not have been a good thing family wise.  Being out of work for so long... I was totally exhausted after this.  What a rollercoaster of emotions.  I would make one lousy criminal because I was a nervous basket case to talk to the judge and the lawyers to tell them that I was not a good choice. To relax tonight I made 2 cards.  I'm going to show you the 1st one. I used Retro TV from Birdie Brown as well as the sentiment Staytuned.  I used my copics to color it up and

Jackson's Digital Expression - Challenge #11

Image
For my Digi darla blog hop please check here. Today I'm hosting the challenge!!! Woohooo! It was stressful lol, didn't want to mess up the text that I had to write. Our challenge today at Jacksons digital expressions is anything goes as usual and the twist is "a rose by any other name". This means to use any flowers that are not a rose in your creation. Now I don't know about you guys... but I just love putting flowers... actually I find it quite hard not to have flowers at all whether in paper or in embellishments. I'm sure that you will find it quite easy to do the twist this week! Here's my card: I used paper that I had in my stash already.  The wonderful digi is Lil Big Hug, I colored her up with my copics.  I just looove her smile.  It was the perfect digi to put with this wonderful sentiment from Dylusions by Dyan Reaveley.  I purchase that set of sentiment at Scrapbook Central at a sale.  So I added the sentiment inside a flower t

If you are looking for the digi darla hop you can find it  here . So for my last post I have a Delicious doodle image that I purchased yesterday!  I won at One stitch at a time challenge, and I really wanted to play again this week.  But I also wanted to play at Delicious doodles... I really love those images.  So I purchased a few... this should give me the wonderful bundle of this months. So as you have seen in my previous 2 posts, I am going crazy for the easel cards!!!!  So I have one more for you: I just had soooo much fun creating with her.  She reminds me of my daughter who wants so much to have a horse.  She's called Friends forever.  I used Desert Blooms First Edition paper.   I really love the sparkle of the flowers.  The cardstock is from BBP Bazzill Basics Paper. I have used my CM border punch to make the easel base. The buttons come from a bag that I purchased at a thrift shop. The butterfly was cut using a spellbinder die. And I used pearls on it. The ribb

For the Digi Darla blog hop it's here . I just had to create another card with a   Doodle pantry digi this one is from their last freebie when you played with them.  It's called Kite Ants.  This time I did something different, I used the frame in word to color the background of the image to blue.  It was already on top of the wonderful digi paper from Tiny Triceratops: I used the wonderful paper from Doodle pantry and combined it with red and blue BBP Bazzill Basics Paper.  I used a little ribbon that I had from American Craft (it was part of a pack from Winners).  I also added little plastic doughnut shapes that are silver, they were in a pack that I bought on sale, this is the 1st time that I use them.  And I used a corner silver embellishment.  The easel part is made using one of my ms punches. I colored my wonderful digi with my copics: I followed this sketch: I'm entering this card in the following challenges: Doodle pantry blog - a doodle

For the Digi Darla blog hop it's  here . Ok so for everyone that knows my work... I've never done a easel card... well after seeing so many WONDERFUL creations from everyone, I just had to try my hand at doing one.  And I've never used digi paper either!  And today I was looking over at  Doodle pantry blog  and they had a wonderful set of digis available for us to use in their challenges.   So if you know me, you know that I looooove to craft.  So I had to try my hand doing a card with it lol I used the wonderful paper from Doodle pantry and combined it with BBP Bazzill Basics Paper the red and the green.  I put my PNG image on top of one of the papers and just had to use my spellbinder circle to cut it out.  I used the scallop circle for the red underneath.  I also added some Robin's Nest dew drops in silver (addicted to this stuff). I colored my wonderful digi with my copics: Isn't  he just soooo cute!  Don't forget to go and get him at Doodle pa
