Winter sprig

Yes I know... it's barely started to be summer and I'm showing a Christmas card.  Well I wanted to play along at the Meljen's challenge.  And this time it's about our flag color.  My flag color for Canada is red and white... and I was a bit tired of doing red and white... so thought this would be a great opportunity to create something a bit different for the red and white!

I have used for this card the great image Winter sprig that you can find here.  It's only 1$$$  This time I didn't  add any sentiment so this will be a card that can be used for my French or my English friends.

I used some paper from MME - The merry Days of Christmas.  I did some embossing with my cuttlebug embossing folder for some added texture and because well just white is a bit boring.  I used some festive berries distress ink on the edge of the image.

Here's a closer look at the digi.  I really left it bare... just doing the heart in the red.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

  1. Meljens designs - Patriotism (use your county flag colors)
  2. Simply create too - Christmas in July
  3. 4 crafty chicks - Dry embossing
  4. Crafting by designs - Show us your country's colors
Have a fabulous Sunday everyone!!!!  And don't  forget you still have some time to enter my giveaway... it will be ending on the 9th of July.

I’m doing a giveaway to celebrate my 350 followers! If you are a follower You can enter at this post and if you’re not now is a great time to become one…

I'm so far behind on leaving comments because of being gone to 5 days, but I've taken the time to browse everything you've posted and have at least one I'm going to be CASEing! Beautiful work all the way around. Hugs.
