Christmas winter scenes
Hello everyone! So did you have a crafty day?!? Mine was spent doing some food that turned up really delicious and some craft as well as a bit of blogging ;o) I'm here to share with you some really exciting news and some little crafty gift.
I had made some cute little Christmas baubles that you can see here and after showing them to the designer of Nicecrane I had an amazing offer that took me about 2 seconds to analyse... and then I said yes! He asked me if I would like to be on his team!!! If you go and check out the store you will realize why I could not say no!!!
I'm trying to get ahead of the game... and make some Christmas gifts for the teachers as well as the educator for my son that's in 5th grade. I will also have to make some for others but right now that's my main concern. I think that homemade gift are so much nicer than the store bought... especially since they get a lot that's the same... and they end up not knowing what to do with them. So I thought a nice little set of cards to give would be a good idea. I plan on giving it to them in mid-December instead of the last day of class... so that they get to use them.
I warn you this post will be heavy with some pictures ;o)
Here's the great set of digis that I used it's called Christmas Winter scenes :
I have used on all of them some paper from Magenta (do you know that this is a Canadian Company?!? Actually based close to Montreal!!! so happy to be able to support them). That paper had been in my stash for awhile and it worked perfectly with this!!! I had the blue and the pink to make it really look like a set of cards. I used some card base that I purchased at the dollar store. Some ribbon from my stash. I added some little pearls as well. I really like that they are not the traditional colors for Christmas!
Here's the pack with a little bow ready to be given out! What do you think?!? Is this a nice gift?
