Digital Delight DT post - Spookily night
Hello everyone! I'm here this time to share with you a different type of creation for my DT post over at Digital Delights. I made a little goodie bag to put the stuff for 3 kids. If you follow my blog you will remember me posting back at the beginning of September that one of my employee had lost her son in law to cancer! Well he had 3 kids, and I figured that any of the upcoming festivities will be hard because their dad is not with them... so I wanted to bring them a little smile.
I gave it to my employee yesterday. She's already gave it to her grandkids and they almost brought tears to my eyes... they passed a message that it was super nice and to give me a huge kiss and hug ;o) I just hope they have a great Halloween... even if it's going to be different then usual... and probably kind of sad. It really makes you realize what is important in life! And to stop complaining about little things.
So I used the awesome Spookily night and paired it up with Spooky sayings sentiments set.
The bag was purchased at the dollar store in a set. I used my scallop and large circle and the negative of Label 14 all from Spellbinder. I embossed a left over cardstock with my Tim Holtz cobwebs set. All the papers were some leftovers from my stash...
Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics. I used some glossy accent for the eyes.
