Fighter - TSC
Hello! I'm here to share with you a little card that I did with the fabulous digi Fighter from The stamping chef. I happened to be on FB when I saw that they were looking for 2 fans to create with this image. I had one nano second of doubt and then jumped on the post! I didn't have the time to create this... but just had too! You see my mom is in remission from Breast cancer. It seems that it runs in the family. So yup I get my girls checked every year... but I know not everyone does or ever. And it's important. My mom was lucky to find it in time... because she's one of those women that didn't have the regular check up or even self checking...
So anyway enough with the personal story and more about my card. I made this one because I have a colleague that I have talked about that has a daughter who will soon find out if she's in remission or not... she also lost her husband to cancer recently... so very sad!
The paper is from Dear Lizzy 5th Frolic. I added some ribbon from my stash as well as a stick pin that I had won at at blog hop (sorry forgot who it was from). I used a little sticker embellishment that says hope it's from The girls paperie - kitch. The shape was cut with my curvy rectangle from Spellbinder.
Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics
