Image
Hello everyone!  It's my turn to post the inspirational post on the Art by miran  blog and I decided to go with the theme of the month which is Snowflakes.  But I used a stamp this time around.  I decided to play with the super cute  Suzie Snowflakes from Treasured Times Rubber Stamps . It's such a GORGEOUS stamp that I went all out for is card lol Here's my card!

Digi Choosday - Xmas Table/decor

Image
It's time for the next challenge over at  Digi choosday .  And this time around we want to see something that you would use to decorate! I have a really really hard time making anything that has to do with Decor... So when I saw this challenge I started to sweat... and dread it... but I figured out what to make.  My dad loves owls and I figured the great one from the  Christmas Joy bundle set  would make a fabulous little decoration.  So I printed it twice (reversing one of the image and created this little jar with it.  It's my own little version of a snow globe.

Top Tip - inspiration from ?

Hello!  It's already time for a new challenge over at  Top Tip Tuesday .  This time around you have to share with us your inspiration :)  How cool is that!?!?   The fabulous sponsor this time around is: Here's my inspiration picture :)  It's my baby Max we got him in 2012 not so much a baby anymore... but still quite naughty and full of spunk! Tip - To make some matting of your image and to lessen the weight of your card (as well as save cardstock) try using the underlayer of your image for the die cut layer.  It's covered so it won't show that there's a whole in it if you use it on a blank white cardstock like I do. For this card I used a fab image from The East wind called  Tuxedo cat rang climbing  and it's totally the type of stuff that Max does lol

Santa with pipe - Rick St-Dennis

Hello!  It's time for me to share with you a different project than my other usual cards for the Sparkle and glitter !  I decided to make a little gift for my youngest son's teacher a calendar as her Christmas gift. Of course there were some great images from RSD to use for it.  So the 1st make that I'm sharing is for the month of December 2015 using a fab image from the zibbet store called  Santa with pipe It was so fun to color.  I decided to go with non traditional colors for this image.  The stars on his coat inspired me :)

Well Christmas is creeping around around the corner!!!!  And well with the fact that I haven't been well I have decided that we are not going to my family... and we are not doing a Christmas tree.... so we didn't pull out any of our regular decorations  (couldn't find the energy to go through all those boxes for what I would put). I just purchased some new stockings and some hangers and got some lights to go on the mantle and a Christmas wreath... that's all the decorations we have. I have to admit for someone that usually goes over the top (Christmas in every room of the house) this seems quite bare... so I've been making some decorations with digis.  And this is one of them :)  It's unique and since I dated it... will be able to use it in the following years in our tree and remember that we HAVE passed through this together as a family!!!  I'm soooooo grateful for my family and my friends right now.  Don't think I would have been able to go through i

I'm back and this time around is for the progressive challenge over at  Sassy Studio FB group  and this time around we get to play with OLAF!!!!!! I was sooo excited.  I printed it out and the sentiments as well... and then!  I found a great little snowglobe!!!!  You can add images in the center of it.  So I figured this would be oooooh so perfect for a gift! Here's my make with this great freebie! And here's the globe when you shake it!!!  The image was colored with my copics.  And then just cut down to size with my scissors. I just LOOOOOOVE this.  I really think it will make a very cool gift :) I'm entering this in the following challenges: Sassy Studio FB group  - Olaf freebie Crafting station challenge  - Winter holidays with snow - there's lots here :) Brown sugar challenge  - Winter Crafty catz weekly challenge  - Snowmen Red-rubber-designs   - 3d gifts that's it for this post but I will be back with something else :) Hugs
