Glass of wine

Hello everyone!  Hope you had a great Monday!!! I saw the cutest image on FB about this

Photo: *sigh* why do GREAT weekends have to come to an end! Thanks to everyone who came out to play at THE GREAT CANADIAN SCRAPBOOK CARNIVAL! YEEHAW!!!!
Yup just had to share... it's the way I feel about Mondays... but they still come ;o)  I'm here to share with you tonight a card I made Saturday before I had company over because my SIL's cousin is becoming a "sommelier"  in English it's "wine waiter" that just doesn't translate well I find the great job that she will be doing of getting the perfect wine for each special meals that people will be ordering!  Anyway there was a great article on her and I figured it would be fun to make a card just for her.  I knew I had an image from Sassy Studio that would fit the bill!  And I managed to find 2 sentiments from Create with TLC for it ;o)

I found Glass of wine - appropriate right?!?

Here's my card:
The challenge over at Sassy studio this week is shabby chic so that's what I went for!  hope you like it.  The paper is from Prima - Lyric collection.  I used my Fancy tag 2 and my beaded oval as well as my oval from Spellbinder.  I added some vintage piece of lace and a ribbon flower.  I also put a little bow with a vintage button and a little feather.   The final touch was some Want 2 scrap pearl around the sentiment.  I distressed all the edge of the paper with my Tim Holtz distresser.

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics and the awesome sentiment from Create with TLC that's just perfect for a wine lover!
And I even finished off the interior!!!
I followed this sketch:

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
