Freshed Brewed DT - Sept 28th 2013
It's Saturday morning and probably before I'm actually out of bed lol. And it's time for a new DT creation for Freshed brewed designs. This time I'm creating something a bit different from my usual creations and I'm doing it with the fabulous digi A Bug that you can find here.
You might remember seeing a little bookmark last weekend on my blog... while I was making that one I did this one at the same time! And pleased my youngest child William. And BTW realizing that it looks almost pinkish in the 1st picture... but the card stock is more a red. You see it better on the 2nd picture that I took in his book. He was really happy to have it!

What I really love about those little bookmarks is that 1 - it's tiny so uses up some of those scrap pieces that I have, 2 - makes for something different than a card and most of all 3 - I don't feel so bad when they loose them... compared to spending money on bookmarks that go who knows where lol I didn't do much to this I fussy cut out the image and then I placed it on top of a cardstock and fussy cut that too this way it was a bit stronger. The digi was colored with my copics.
Here's a look when it's in a book ;o) I'm pretty happy with the results!
I'm entering this bookmark in the following challenges:
- Polka doodle - More than one fold - to make this little bookmark it takes a few folds ;o)
- C.R.A.F.T. challenge - inspired by a book - well it's a bookmark and it reminded me of a book I saw this summer time when we went to a used book store it's called "what the lady bird heard" it was really cute. I thought about purchasing this for my little niece and nephew... my kids are much too old now for this... but William can still enjoy the bookmark aspect...
- Crafty sentiments - Not a card. I'm back with another little bookmark!
That's it for me for now. I have quite a big day today...need to go to the hairdresser with my daughter this morning. The wash and housecleaning needs to be done... and also need to take care of changing my wardrobe from summer to winter... :( Hopefully I'll still get some crafty time!
I'm having
a giveaway to celebrate the fact that I have reached 400 followers!!! WOW so if
you want to enter it's here: http://crafting-vicky.blogspot.ca/2013/09/400-followers-giveaway.html
