Lotus Sprite

Hello folks.  So what are you up too this Sunday?  Here it will be yet another lazy day... man I'm looking forward to energy levels the way I'm used to!!!

Anyway, I'm here to share with you a little card that I made with a great image that I had won from Aurora Wings this one is called Lotus Sprite and she can be found here.

I looked up lotus flowers to get the right colors :) and I kept this card fairly CAS because I really wanted to showcase the gorgeous image!!!
The fabulous background paper is from Spring in Bloom by GCD.  I wanted to leave this really fresh looking.  Yup I'm longing for Spring :)  The corners are done using a great die from Cheery Lynn B162- lace corner.  I used my Dees flourish #2 to make the flourish because I wanted to enter the Cheery Lynn challenge... but I don't have Cheery Lynn flourishes...   I used my tags and Flags from Spellbinder to make the little happy b-day banner.  I put a little bit of bling and that's it.

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics and some stickles for the middle part of the flower.

I followed this sketch that I flipped around:

I'm entering this little card in the following challenges:

  1. Sketch saturday - Sketch
  2. Cheery lynn designs - Add a flourish -oooops too late...
