Bird wishes
Hello everyone! So how was your day today? I spent some of mine in my craft room!!! It was fun after being out of it for the entire week... but I get tired very fast :( Anyway, I have a few cards to share with you and one of them is for the super fun progressive challenge over at From the heart stamps. They have just sent out the new set!!! And I got the idea right away to make my brother's b-day card with it! He's turning the big 4-0 this year!!!! So this fun bird seemed just perfect for this.
Here's my card, I even did the inside!!!
The paper is from MME - Out of the blue. I thought it was fun to use some papers with all numbers :) And of course I also wanted it to look masculine! I used my scallop and large circle. I added a button from my stash and some ribbon from American craft.

Here's a closer look at the fab little bird colored with my copics. I added a bunch of stickles to the flame. The sentiment comes with the bird and there's a ton more sentiments to choose from!
And here's the inside where I added the big 40 done with my sizzix - ransom numbers.
I followed the fabulous sketch that they have right now! - I really try to use it because you get some amazing vouchers good towards digis :)

You masterfully combined the sketch challenge with the SOTM - absolutely adorable! I can't wait to color this little guy up - you did a fabulous job coloring and I love your choice of sentiment :-) I'm sure your brother is going to love it.
