Little B-day card - oriental twist

Hello everyone!  Well you will be happy with me... I'm being extra quiet and good... not doing much... just resting as doctor ordered :)  yeah... that's a big change for me... listening to orders lol

Anyway... I'm here to share a little card that I made super fast to participate in a great challenge... I've gotten hooked at Mark's Finest Paper for their oriental sketch!!!  And I thought that this week's sketch would again make a great masculine b-day card :)  And I left it CAS... I've never done so many CAS card as since I'm sick lol

I was looking all over my stamps for the right one to use for this card... And I found one that I had purchased from my friend Desíre Fourie.  Had her sent them all the way from Africa... unfortunately her talent didn't come with them lol.  Anyway I used paper from my Bobynny Serendipity set.  The great large and small square from Spellbinder.  The stamp is from Great impressions - South Africa :)  That's the stamp that has travel the most!!!!

    A beautiful CAS design Vicky. Love how you have made the image and the sentiment the same shape.
    Must say as was very relieved that you got the stamps so quickly and all in tact all the way from the southern tip of Africa.

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful! WOW I'm speechless (well almost) lol!  Can't believe I have reached 300 followers.  I seem to be thanking you all the time but I think you really deserve HUGE thank you!!!!
