Create with TLC
Well it was a pretty crazy weekend!!! So much so that I made a card and didn't post it. As you will know if you have followed my blog we were robbed last week while I was on a business trip.
So I came back home to a big mess... my hubby was repairing my dresser which had been broken. I had a huge mess... Lots of my jewelry is gone some pieces that my hubby had given me when we started to go out together and when we 1st married. The good news is that for some unbelievable reason my MIL's stuff was left just beside where all the pieces were stolen! All I can think is that she kicked their butt out of my house!!! Hope so anyway...
So I spent the weekend doing my laundry (had to wash all my clothes because I was feeling awful that he had touched my stuff!!!)... doing paperwork for the insurance and paperworks for the passports... :(
So for my card I'm using a fabulous set from Create with TLC. You will see the set lower in my post.
I used some left over paper. The image is from the last club from Create with TLC. If you haven't been part of the clubs you really need to participate. I added all the flags from the set. There are 2 series. I used the brown ones.

Vicki I so feel for you, that happened to me about 20 years ago and I have never lived with out an alarm since. They went through all my drawers and I washed everything too, it's a feeling almost like being raped. Such a violation. Hope things get back to normal for you soon.
ReplyDeleteThis card is fantastic! I love vintage and you really pulled the elements together! Big hugs,

ReplyDeleteWhat a really great idea for a card. It turned out so well.
ReplyDeleteSorry that you are still dealing with the aftermath of the robbery but remember what I always say, there are still small blessings to be found when you look hard enough and in this case the fact that the items from your MIL were not taken, along with the fact none of the kids were home at the time, are most definitely blessings you can hold in your heart.
Hugs,
Lisa
