Like father like son

Hello everyone!  I wanted to share this card this weekend... and well ran right out of time.  Today during lunch time I did some commenting on my DT work... and still didn't post.  So now it's the time to post ;)

I've been pretty good at doing a card a week for the challenge over at Meljens designs.  Just love those fabulous digis!!!

For this card I used paper from one of my favorite packs which is Swagger paper.  I used my large and small square from Spellbinder.  I added a button and some twine from my stash.

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics.  The great sentiment is from Create with TLC.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

    I just love that digi, VIcky, and it happens to be one of my favorites from Meljen's. It can be used so many ways. Love your color combo and that button is perfect!

    So sweet. Great DP choice. I was saying to Suze earlier tonight that I seem to be able to spot one of Meljen's images a mile away but can't even seem to pick out a lot of my own work when I see it. Mellisa does phenomenal work!

DDC#47 - Winter blues

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful!
