Searching and a little more about me
Hello everyone! Hope you had a wonderful Saturday. I had fun, went to do some errands with my daughter Megan this morning. Then my son Gregory cooked us lunch ;) Trying to get them to be self sufficient... so he cooked grilled cheese. With the help of his older brother Andrew. William is with his dad so he didn't get to contribute to the family chores.
Then I had some play time including this card. And it was time for supper with my dad who is here for a little visit!!! So happy with the family time ;) Feels really good to be able to enjoy it a bit.
So back to this card, I saw a post on my friend Sassy Raggedy's blog about a Freebie challenge with a great image. Just had to join in! And this is my take with the great Searching.
I used a CM punch with some left over papers to make the pattern ;) I really like how it looks. I used my curved rectangles from Spellbinder.
Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics and the sentiment from Ginger house.
I followed this sketch
I already shared my picture of Max and now I'm back with another cat this time our little Hendrix.
Isn't he cute?!? Technically he's supposed to be my 14 year old daughter's cat... but I pay for everything so I figure that I must at the least be his stepmom don't you think?
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
I’m doing a giveaway to celebrate my 350 followers! If you are a follower You can enter at this post and if you’re not now is a great time to become one…

What a fun card! Love the papers, design and of course that sweet image. Ginger's House has the most unique sentiments, sorry I missed this one! Sounds like you had a great day :) Hendrix is stunning...he must have great moms! Best, CG
ReplyDeleteHey Vicky...Thanks for the shout out and so glad you got the image and was able to get your card in the challenge...I love your sentiment reminds of that song from Blake Shelton. Great job with the image...Hugz, joann
ReplyDeleteDarling card, Vicky, and I love the photo of Hendrix. He's so regal looking in the pic. You just know that he's Lord and Master of the castle. :-D
ReplyDeleteLovely little image and love your take on our sketch. Thanks for joining us this week at Sketch Saturday, Niki xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a great contemplation card! I've also checked out some more of your posts between my last comment and this one and they are all wonderful of course too. Loved the BEE play on words in one of them. Hendrix is adorable and a very handsome boy to boot! Thanks for sharing your day and furbaby with us.
