Beach umbrella
Good evening everyone! Hope you had a great day today. My day was so so. As is my week so far lol. Yesterday the toilet at work overflowed when I used it... yup life can be shitty... and this morning when preparing myself this morning I had a lipstick stain. While trying to remove it I dropped a bottle in the toilet making a huge splash everywhere... So yup... shitty....
So to make my night better I made this card and put a sentiment that reflects how I'm feeling right now!
I really love to play over at Meljens! I won a digi last week so just had to play this week again! I used the great digi Beach Umbrella that you can find here. I thought it was perfect for the color challenge that they have at the present time.
I followed the color inspiration from Meljen's
I followed this awesome sketch:

For this card I used paper from Fancy Pants - Beach bum. I used my wonky rectangle and my label 20 from Spellbinder. I added some Robin's Nest dew drops and left the rest really simple.
Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored using my copics and some chalk for the sky. The fabulous sentiment is from Create with TLC it was part of the last club! You really don't want to miss those. And right now my life seems to be filled with little crabs! Nothing totally major but lots of annoyances!!!! Looking forward to some beach time without them!

Hope the accidents alls top now -three in a row usually dos it! Yes, life is life - and some days there are crabs. My grandson calls them 'whoppers!' "Look at this big whopper Nin!"and this makes me laugh so much - so crabs are kinda cute for me........but sand in the knickers is not!
ReplyDeleteGosh I am torn between falling off my chair laughing or to feel so darn bad for everything that has happened to you lately...you need a serious break from the universe!!! You sure know how to word things, hahahahaha , you are still shining through it if you can make another laugh. Hang in there!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh no! You are having a toilet week! Be careful, be very careful, I had one of those once...I dropped my cell phone in the toilet, accidently walked into the men's bathroom (not a pretty site) tucked my skirt into the back of my pantyhose all in the same week! I was ready to quit my job from embarrassment...but life goes on.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your beach card since I live at the beach and we really do have to "watch out for crabs" so cute!

Oh Lord. That card certainly does match up to the last couple weeks you've been having. I hope you are out of this slump soon. I think your biorhythm is in the toilet along with everything else you've dropped there!
ReplyDeleteYou know you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I'll be pulling double duty 'til your skies brighten.
