Soccer theme card

I'm back!  Told you I would be...  2 weekends ago I was asked to create a soccer theme card for a birthday!  I had some great paper  but couldn't decide on the image to use... I wanted something that wasn't  kid related since it's for a grown man.  So I went web searching and found a great site called Arthur Clip Art.  I found the great digi there.  Then the rest just happened lol

For this card I used some paper from High School Stack from DCWV.  I remembered that it had some sport related paper and low and behold there was my soccer paper!!!  Since the guy in the digi was wearing green I mounted everything in green cardstock.  I added some Robin's nest dew drops and that's it!


Here's a closer look at the digi that was already colored.  The sentiment is from the awesome Create with TLC.

    WOW, fabulous action card, Vicky! My nephew played soccer all of his high school and college years and this would have been a perfect image for him. Love the design!

DDC#47 - Winter blues

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful!
