Blooming blessings
Wow it's been a rough month.... with my Father-in-law in the hospital and passing and then I had to get my little dog Chanel put to sleep yesterday because she wasn't well..... It's been harder with my depression.... just seemed to be all bad news all the time.
But yesterday when I was at the vet for Chanel I saw a beautiful little cat (turning 1 this July) that was still waiting for adoption. He's this little bundle of raw energy! Wanting to explore and super cuddly..... I just had to bring him home. Now the rest of the pets are upset with me..... Hope that they will adapt like they have to the other family members. But I have to say that he brought a smile to me that I hadn't had in a long time. Kinda hard to be sad when there's something purring like a tractor beside you!
Figured I would use this quiet day on my blog to post my card for the progressive challenge of DeeDee Anderson.
Here's my little card I used the precolored image and kept it really CAS. I used only left over papers that I had in my stash.
I'm entering this little card in the following challenges:

That's it for this post for today! Hope you have a great day. Here it's raining.... and totally grey.... good thing that I have my new little ray of sunshine because it was super hard to get up and not have Chanel follow me like my little shadow....
Hugs

ReplyDeleteOh, I do love what you did with Deedee's image, Vicky! Beautiful card and thanks for playing. I'm sending you virtual hugs over having to put down one of your fur babies. Nothing is harder. I think it's perfect that you have a new little cat to help you get past the sadness. Are we going to get to see photos of him? Hugz

It's hard when a lot of bad things come along in our lives. This sentiment says it all, doesn't it.
