SLS Challenge - Anything goes - April
Hello everyone! It's time for a new Anything goes challenge over at SLS Lines Digital Stamps and for this challenge I decided to use the super fun Cool Cat trio. They made me think of my 3 cats... I did color some the same way but gave up at my Calico cat that was just too hard to draw lol
I've been journaling a lot... that's my therapist's fault... she gave me this as an assignment... it's supposed to let the bad out of my head... and yes it's fancy and does keep me occupied a lot longer than a card so that has to be good right?!?
The accent pieces are from my Cat's life paper pack purchased at a dollar store (one of the best paper packs ever purchased!) I used my Luminarte Rich cocoa, sand dollar and Mocha Rose powders for the background. I used my Walnut mowed lawn, worn lipsticks and vintage photo distress ink on this for the stamping and the edging. I added some left over burlap paper from my stash it totally reminded me of their scratching posts. I also put some brads from Eyelet outlet. The sentiments were just torn (looooooving doing that right now just tearing paper up) and I used my nesting octagon for the image.
Here's a closer look at the fab image colored with my copics. The great sentiments are from Create with TLC
and a look a the other sentiment
