Vivian - Rosey Hearts

Oh my world... I've become the worst blogger EVER!  I'm doing what the doctor told me to do which is nothing if that's what my brain is feeling like doing... but in the process I have totally become ADDICTED to this Youtube channel it's from a fellow Canadian and she just has the most amazing and cheapest ways of doing things!!!  Now I want to try it all out.. the only issue is that I've got no energy to do it lol

But it's good for my soul to watch this.  However because of this I haven't been blogging much and I didn't blog this journal that I made this weekend.  YUP still journalling because it's good for me to put stuff on paper.  I'm finding out that this is really good for my soul as well.

And of course it's a great way to get messy!!!

For this journal I used the great image from Rosey Hearts called Vivian.  I really love that image it totally reminded me of my daughter and well the teenage attitude that goes with her lol

And if you want the chance to win this image you should join in on the candy over at the Rosey-hearts blog.

You will notice that I have started using more of my sticker letters.  I just find they are fun and put a different twist to my journal pages.  I used my gelatos for the background and put some dusty concord distress inks on the sentiments that are from Create with TLC.  I used my xcut mixed rosettes die to cut the sentiment as well as my Nellie's oval dies.

Here's a closer look at the image colored with my copics.  She really does remind me of my daughter!
I'm entering this little journal page in the following challenges:

  1. Alphabet challenge blog - E is for eye catching edge - did distressing on them
  2. Polka doodle - Anything but a square
  3. Simply create too - Pretty woman
That's it for me for today and so sorry that I'm not sharing as much... .the good thing is that I'm taking the doctors orders really seriously as I have no intention of ending up in the hospital!

Hugs

  1. It's always strange doing nothing, especially when you a Wife and Mum. However there are times when you have to be really selfish and for YOU this is the time. Forget about everyone and everything EXCEPT yourself. Family, blogging and card making will be there when you feel you want to be part of it all again and it WILL come, take it slowly. Sermon over, I always LOVE your work :)
