Sparkle and Glitter Progressive challenge - Midway point

Hello everyone!  It's already the midway point for the progressive challenge of Sparkle and Glitter and even if you haven't been playing you can purchase the cute little digi to play this month here.  She's called Aloha Nui.

I just love love love this image!  I wasn't sure what colors to use for her dress... so I searched the net and found this image and it was my starting point.

I've been doing that a lot lately to get inspiration for colors that I use.  And I'm quite happy with the result.

I thought she would make a fab image for the card for the friendship swap over at Kit and Clowder :)  So she's on her way to my swap partner :)  I used my go to paper for Hawai makes which is Basic Grey Lauderdale... almost out of that paper.... I added a Petaloo Premier flower and did the leaves with my xcut leaves dies.  The image and the sentiment were cut using my A2 Distress Edge dies.

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics.  The edge was done with my peacock distress ink.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC
