I hope you are having a great day.  I wanted to share with you the card for the progressive challenge over at  Digistamps 4 joy-sa .  I know I'm cutting it super close to the challenge end.  YIKES... it's hard to keep track of the days with the kids home for the holidays. Here's my card with this great image that I got as a freebie for playing in last month. For this card I decided to go with gold and blue :)

Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas.  It was quiet here but I'm still tired lol.  Today I wanted to make some cards... but didn't feel like doing much... so figured I would try something that I've been wanting to do which is Recycle some of the store bought Christmas cards that I got. I always keep the homemade cards!  But I can't store all the store bought ones.  So those usually end up in the recycling.  Last year I had seen Hazel doing that and I thought it was very clever. So here's one of my 1st one using a Traditional color scheme.  I also used some great velvet ribbon that I got as a Christmas gift.  My mom brought me all sorts of left over ribbons and such in a big Santa bag!!!  Best gift EVER.

Hello everyone!  It's time for a new challenge over at  Top Tip Tuesday  and this time around it's about making your own. The sponsor for this challenge is And for my card I'm using the super fun Scene it snowmen fun.  I decided for this challenge to make my own stick pin and here's my tip for it.  For those you can use some corsage pins and some beads. In order to glue them together use some glossy accent. It dries clear and is a fine enough tip not to make a mess on your entire stick pin. Here's the card with the stick pin

I wanted you guys to see how we could turn a regular image into a Christmas one :) I went with some non traditional Christmas colors since this is a non traditional Christmas image.

Hello!  It's time for a new challenge over at  Digi Choosday .  This time around it's all about Christmas! I really do love Christmas!!! It's my favorite Holiday of the year so creating for it is never HARD especially when there's some fabulous Papers, images and embellishments on the great Festive Hollybob's collection that you can purchase here  Download  or on  CD.   For this card I used the awesome image called Mistletoe!  He's just ADORABLE and I went with a different color mix than the traditional.  Love the green with the blue.

Hello!  I hope you had a great Monday!  I'm starting to slowly get better and feel my mojo returning :)  Of course it does help when I get to play with precolored images like this one from the great FB group  Dragon Lair  where they have a fabulous decoupage sheet all ready to go.  Just print and have fun putting it together!!! I really love the 3d effect that you get with this.

The great sponsors this time around are: ,   and  For my card I used a great image from  Fresh brewed designs  called Jesus is the light.  I thought it was appropriate because I believe in God and to me Christmas is about the faith and the light that Jesus brings in the world with his birth. So in keeping with this thought I figured I would leave this card to be quite traditional Christmas with the red and the gold!
