Sunflower - Scribbles design challenge

Hello Everyone!  I don't  know if you know but if you don't  I'll tell you :D There's a new challenge coming up in February 2013, it's Scribbles Design Challenge!  Well to get ready you can use a wonderful digi that's available on the challenge site here.

I am tremendously happy to say that I'm part of this wonderful design team!  I've followed Scribbles by Sandy for awhile and I was super excited when she asked me if I would be interested.  Since I totally adore her work I just couldn't say no!

And you too can be part of this wonderful team!  All you need to do is answer the Design call!

So for some inspiration for you I made a card with the wonderful freebie.
To make this card I used paper from my scrap pile!!!!  So happy so I can't tell you the names of the papers... I used my Small and my large classic square as well as my Label 14.  I used an embossing folder from Cuttlebug called African batik on the paper that looks like wood.

I colored my digi with some copics and added Vintage photo distress ink around the edge

DDC#47 - Winter blues

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful!
