Dog days of Summer - Karleigh Sue Digi

It's my very 1st time doing an inspiration post over at Karleigh Sue here!  I'm very excited about it!  For my 1st post here I decided to used the great image for making a little door hanger.  I wanted to make something that would be put on the door to the garage for when I'm doing a video :)  So I used the fab Dog Days of Summer.

I wanted to make sure that my kids would not get in... and this is what I came up with lol.  Hope that is something that you will like.

I used some paint through a little mesh that I found at a dollar store.  It's supposed to be used to stop the leaves from entering the gutters.  The letters were from my stash and they're a bunch of miscellaneous ones.

I colored the image with my copics and you can see a close up here.

I'm pretty happy with this :)  Think it really does say what I want it too.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

  1. Brown sugar challenge - Anything but a card
  2. Creative artiste mixed media - Anything goes
  3. Inspiration destination challenge blog - anything goes
  4. Crafting with an attitude - anything goes
  5. Rhedds creative spirit - Mixed media - anything goes
That's it for me for today.  Hope you have a great day!

Hugs
